Sfrido

Designed by Valerio Sommella for Alessi’s Objets-Bijoux collection, Sfrido is an elegant ergonomic vegetable peeler. Its name – ‘sfrido’ is Italian for scrap – hints at its function, a reference to the waste produced when using it. Sfrido’s gleaming stainless steel handle gently bends and twists bringing to mind a stylized ribbon. The curves created lets you hold the peeler in a natural way, guaranteeing a comfortable grip.
